Study Group will continue operating as a partner-focused provider. It maintains its existing university partnerships, student progression tracks, and institutional commitments. The organisation runs university pathway programmes in the UK, Ireland, and the US, along with direct entry recruitment, campus management services, and the Bellerbys higher education preparation brand.
Arete Education owns Arden University, a distance and blended learning institution under the Global University Systems group. Through this, it is already investing in AI-focused technologies to improve student outcomes and institutional innovation. The acquisition allows Study Group and its university partners to access these tools.
Study Group’s Chief Executive Officer said the acquisition positions the organisation to better meet student demand, strengthen support for university partners and governments, and expand its global presence.
