Background
UF’s Warrington College will offer MBA programs in Jacksonville and Miami to link students with top companies.
Starting Spring 2026, the part-time MBA program will be available in downtown Jacksonville, near major employers such as UF Health, Naval Station Mayport, CSX, Florida Blue, and Johnson & Johnson Vision. In addition, a new master’s degree in management with a focus on AI will launch in Fall 2026.
John Gresley, UF’s associate dean for master’s programs, said that business education works best close to companies, allowing students to learn from and engage with local businesses while gaining more opportunities.
Warrington is also relocating its South Florida part-time MBA programs to the heart of Miami’s downtown financial district, offering students easier access to the region’s business hubs.
The college offers hands-on learning through programs like the MBA Summit and Global Experiences. The Summit Series pairs students with alumni and includes company visits and networking opportunities. The Insights Series hosts conferences around major U.S. cities, while the Global Immersion Experiences provide hands-on exposure to businesses in cities such as New York and San Francisco.
“With these expansions, we’re increasing the effectiveness of the academic experience,” Gresley added. “Connecting students with real-world business experiences is essential, and we continue to invest in programs that work.”
Warrington’s top-ranked online MBA program ensures that students across Florida and around the world can benefit from UF’s business education, no matter their location.
